Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Intern", "User", "You") and Redback IT Solutions Private Limited ("Redback", "Company", "We", "Us").

By accessing, browsing, registering an account, enrolling in an internship track, or verifying a certificate through our website or mobile interfaces, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our companion Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must discontinue your use of the platform immediately.

To register on the Redback Internship Platform, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 16 years of age or enrolled in a recognized secondary, polytechnic, college, or university program.
• All information provided during registration—including your Full Name, Email Address, Mobile Number, College / University, Degree / Major, and District—is accurate, truthful, and current.
• Your official full name matches your institutional and government-issued identification, as this name will be permanently inscribed on your verified credentials.
• You will safeguard your login credentials and immediately notify Redback of any unauthorized access to your account.

Each student is entitled to maintain one primary account. Creating multiple dummy or duplicate accounts may result in suspension of all associated profiles.

Redback provides outcome-driven practical internship courses across domains including Artificial Intelligence, Full Stack Development, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, Mobile Apps, and Data Engineering.

• Self-Paced Progression: You may work through modular tasks at your designated pace within the allotted enrollment window.
• Submission Requirements: Practical tasks require submission of verifiable artifacts, such as public source code repositories (e.g. GitHub/GitLab), deployed live URLs, technical documentation, or screencasts.
• Evaluation & Approval: Task completion is evaluated by automated test runners and/or industry mentors. Submissions failing quality standards must be revised and resubmitted.

Redback upholds strict standards of technical authenticity. Verifiable credentials are respected by hiring companies because they validate authentic hands-on competence.

Redback reserves the right to audit task submissions at any time before or after issuing an offer letter or completion certificate.

Upon successful completion of all mandatory course modules, interns become eligible to receive an official Certificate of Completion.

• Unique Credentials: Every certificate carries a unique tamper-proof Certificate ID (e.g., CRT-XXXXXXXXXX) and Intern ID (e.g., RBS/INT/XXXXXX).
• Instant QR Verification: All certificates feature a secure QR code that resolves directly to the official Redback Public Verification Portal (Verify Portal).
• Third-Party Employer Checks: Potential employers, colleges, and university placement cells may publicly look up your credential to verify authenticity, domain course, completion status, and issue date.
• Revocation: Redback reserves the right to cancel or revoke any certificate found to have been obtained through fraud, identity impersonation, or academic dishonesty.

Redback offers both Free and Certified internship courses:

• Free Courses: When a course is designated as FREE, interns may complete task modules and unlock their verified certificate at no cost (₹0).
• Certificate Fees & Discounts: For premium courses, a transparent certificate verification fee is displayed. If a special offer or discount applies, the discounted price is clearly billed at checkout.
• Payment Gateway: All payments are securely processed through RBI-authorized payment processors (e.g. Razorpay). Redback does not store raw credit/debit card numbers or bank account passwords on our servers.
• Refund Policy: Certificate fees cover administrative verification, mentor evaluation, digital badge generation, and lifetime cloud credential hosting. Once an official verified certificate has been generated and unlocked, certificate fees are strictly non-refundable. If you experience technical billing errors or duplicate charges, contact info@redback.in within 7 business days for prompt reconciliation.

Redback Content: All platform curriculum materials, problem statements, UI graphics, logos, certificate designs, trademarks, and code templates are the exclusive intellectual property of Redback IT Solutions Private Limited. You may not reproduce, resell, or distribute them without prior written authorization.

Your Work: You retain full copyright and ownership of the original code, software repositories, and written documentation you create during your internship deliverables. By submitting artifacts to the platform, you grant Redback a limited, non-exclusive license to evaluate, host, and display your work strictly for review and credential validation purposes.

While using Redback, you agree NOT to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable IT regulations and laws in India.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or probe security vulnerabilities in platform APIs or databases.
• Impersonate another student, provide forged college or district data, or misrepresent certificate credentials to external parties.
• Upload malicious code, viruses, malware, or harmful payloads through task submission fields.
• Harass, abuse, or engage in defamatory conduct toward mentors, staff, or fellow interns.

Redback may suspend or permanently terminate your account, access to task modules, and certificate verification privileges at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if:

• You breach any provision of these Terms or related platform guidelines.
• We detect fraudulent activity, submission tampering, or counterfeit certificate circulation.
• Required by law enforcement or regulatory authorities.

You may request account closure at any time by contacting our support team, provided there are no pending disciplinary or verification investigations.

The platform, internship modules, and educational materials are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

Redback provides skill certification and verifiable credentials; however, enrollment does not guarantee employment, job placements, or campus interview selections by third-party companies.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Redback IT Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from your use or inability to use the platform.

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be instituted exclusively in the competent courts located in Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India, and both parties consent to personal jurisdiction and venue therein.
